Hello, I hope this finds you well. It has been awhile since I’ve written blogposts regularly. I’m hoping this is the first of regular monthly posts. I took a break from writing because life happened, as it does for each one of us, no matter if we are meditating, living mindfully, working our regularly, eating healthy, thinking positive thoughts, feeling peaceful inside and trusting the divine. Life happens because we are human and here to experience it. We have the free will to choose whether we avoid the challenges life brings to our door or whether we meet them with courage and flow and grow through them.
My life has gone through a lot of changes the past couple years and so has my work. I continue to give psychic medium readings in my Warm Springs Office. I have added spiritual guidance sessions and meditation classes. I also started school last year, working towards my master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology with an emphasis in Consciousness. One of the biggest changes in my life has been becoming a parent again of an amazing seven-year-old boy, our grandson, who courageously meets many difficult challenges, one being a serious and painful bone disease. I am learning how to meet the moments of my very full life, mindfully, meaning present to the moment no matter what it holds, whether ease or difficulty. I remember a few years back, a spiritual teacher telling me that it is possible to experience peace 100% of the time. I remember wondering if that was truly possible. Today I know that she was right, though I have certainly not reached 100%, I am learning through my experience with mindful meditation and my spiritual practice that keeps me centered and present, that I can most often meet the more difficult challenges of my life in a way I never thought I could, peacefully and confidently.
I enjoy helping others create and sustain a meditation and spiritual practice and to reap the rewards to their body, mind and spirit. I invite you to join us this Monday evening, and each first Monday of the month for my monthly mindful meditation and spiritual support circle, to help you create and sustain a spiritual practice that works for you.
We meet just one evening a month, the first Monday from 6:30 to 8:30, to help those of us with very full schedules. I also know you may be in difficult financial circumstances and not able to afford private sessions with me, so the suggested donation is just $20.
I will help you learn to meditate, and to work with your mind, emotions and body during meditation to come to a place of peace. I will help you create a spiritual practice that works for you, with your schedule and your unique life circumstances. The circle will support you as you learn how to make your spiritual practice a part of your daily life and how to sustain.z It takes time and patience of course, as does learning anything new. You will meet others doing what you are and share the successes and frustrations that come as we learn something new as well and share the wisdom you are learning along your spiritual journey. I will be there to answer your questions and to give you support. I will also suggest reading material each month to help you be successful and to have compassion with yourself when you experience a setback.
